• User ID: A unique identifier generated locally to track your subscription and usage
• Usage Count: Number of humanizations performed per month
• Subscription Tier: Your current subscription level (Free, Basic, Pro, or Unlimited)
• Usage Reset Date: Date when your monthly usage counter resets

Information You Provide

• Text Input: Text you submit for humanization (temporarily processed, not stored)
• Email Address: Provided during payment/subscription (handled by Polar.sh)
• Payment Information: Handled securely by Polar.sh (we never see your payment details)

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide Services: Process text humanization requests
• Enforce Limits: Track usage against your subscription tier limits
• Manage Subscriptions: Handle billing and subscription status
• Improve Services: Analyze usage patterns to enhance the extension
• Customer Support: Respond to your inquiries and provide assistance

Data Processing

Text Humanization

• Text you submit is sent to our secure backend server
• The backend forwards it to OpenAI's API for processing
• We do NOT store your input or output text
• Text is processed in real-time and immediately discarded
• OpenAI may retain data according to their privacy policy

Data Storage

• User data is stored securely in Supabase (encrypted at rest)
• Usage counts and subscription data are stored to enforce limits
• Data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:

• Encryption: All data transmitted is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
• Secure Storage: User data is encrypted at rest in Supabase
• Access Control: Limited access to user data, only for essential operations
• No API Keys in Extension: Sensitive keys are stored securely on the backend

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of your data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
• Correction: Update or correct your information
• Export: Export your data in a machine-readable format
• Opt-Out: Uninstall the extension at any time

Data Retention

• Active Users: Data retained while you use the extension
• Inactive Users: Data deleted after 90 days of inactivity
• Cancelled Subscriptions: Data retained for 30 days, then deleted
• Deleted Accounts: Data permanently deleted within 7 days

Children's Privacy

Our extension is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
